Available Positions:

Project Coordinator


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Create Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction trades and consultants
  • Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
  • Manage process of obtaining and analyzing quotations
  • Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
  • Chair site meetings and record and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
  • Work alongside Project Manager and Site Super to prepare project schedule
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 years experience as a Construction Project Coordinator
  • Related education to Project Management/ Real Estate Development (High Rise)
  • Experience working alongside a Real Estate Developer is an asset
  • Experience with Autocad/Revit is an asset
  • Experience in Interior Design is an asset
  • Experience in Graphic Design is an asset
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is an asset
